Zeon Zoysia can survive in many different soil types, including those with a high salt content. It is intended for residential, resort, and golf course use. 

Palisades Zoysia is the most shade tolerant Zoysia variety we offer. It can be used in almost any setting, from highway medians to home lawns. This variety of Zoysia is medium textured and requires very little water. Even when conditions are very dry, this sod will require only one to two deep irrigation’s each month. It can also tolerate low mowing.

  • Prior to installation, ensure irrigation systems are working properly and covering all areas to be planted.
  • ​Water thoroughly upon installation ensuring that both the Zoysia Sod is wet and the soil is moist to a depth of 3”, which is approximately 1” of water per day.
  • ​In hot weather, water within a few hours of installation to mitigate severe damage or loss due to heat / dehydration stress.
  • ​Shaded areas and heavy soils require less water than full-sun areas and sandy soils.
  • ​When proper rooting is evident, alter irrigation program accordingly.
